RIPPLING RIVER RESORT POLICIES


All new guests and visitors must register at the main office. If you have a reservation, please stop by the main office to pick up your site tag and parking pass. Check in time is 3pm.  Check out time is 11am.  Office hours are 8am-10pm.  If you plan to arrive after 10pm, please contact our office for information on how to check in after hours.   Guests must be 21 years of age to rent a cabin and 19 years of age to rent a campsite.

PAYMENTS & CHARGES

Payment will be charged in full to your credit card at time of booking. 

We are a cashless business as of January 1, 2021. Please be prepared to pay by credit card when making any purchases throughout the Resort during your stay.


SMOKING

This is a non-smoking property.  A $500 fine will be applied if smoking occurs inside any cabin.   A $25 fee will apply to each cigarette butt found at your campsite or around the cabin upon checkout.  We do not allow the use of vape pens or e-cigarettes. 


OCCUPANCY, VEHICLES & RATES

LUXURY CABINS:
The maximum number of guests allowed in the cabins is 6 people. The price includes up to 4 guests. $10 per person, per night fee will be added for the 5th and 6th guest.  1 vehicle allowed per cabin.  No tents allowed. You must be at least 21 years old to reserve a cabin, and all cabins must have at least one guest 21 years or older staying in cabin.

RUSTIC CABINS:
The maximum number of guests allowed in the cabin is 4 people. 1 vehicle allowed per cabin.  No tents allowed. Cabin beds come with fitted sheets. Bring your own bedding, or add a “Linen Package” to your reservation. You must be at least 21 years old to rent a cabin, and all cabins must have at least one guest 21 years or older staying in cabin. 

FULL HOOK UP & ELECTRIC CAMPSITES:
The maximum number of guests allowed in a campsite is 6 people.  The price includes up to 4 guests.  $10 per person, per night fee will be added for the 5th and 6th guest.  1 RV and 1 tent OR 2 tents maximum.  1 RV and 1 car allowed per campsite.  You must be at least 19 years old to reserve a campsite, and all sites must have at least one guest 19 years or older staying on site. 

RUSTIC TENT CAMPSITES:
The maximum number of guests allowed in the tent sites is 6 people.  The price includes up to 4 guests.  $10 more per person, per night will be added for the 5th and 6th guest.  Maximum of 2 tents per campsite.  1 vehicle allowed per campsite.  You must be at least 19 years old to reserve a campsite, and all sites must have at least one guest 19 years or older staying on site. 


Pets are welcome but must be in control at all times.  Cats are not allowed in Luxury or Rustic cabins. A limit of 2 dogs allowed for all cabins and campsites.  Please keep your dogs on a 6-foot leash at all times and contained in your camper, tent or trailer at night.  All pet spoils must be cleaned up immediately. A $25 fine will be applied if any pet spoils are not cleaned up at your reserved area upon checkout. 

PETS


All registered overnight guests, along with any visitors, will be required to display a parking pass in their vehicle.  If you plan to have a visitor, a parking pass will be provided in the office to the visitor.  The number of registered guests and visitors must not exceed 6 people per campsite (full hook up, electric only & tent sites), 6 people per Luxury Cabin, & 4 people per Rustic Cabin. 

VISITORS & PARKING PASSES


Use only approved RV jacks to set up trailers and campers.  Cinder blocks and other devices may not be used.  Nothing is to be constructed outside of any RV or tent.

SET UP


PERSONAL CONDUCT

Please be considerate of others and refrain from foul language.  Always keep radio volume low and observe event quiet hours of 10pm-8am.  No drunken or disorderly conduct will be allowed.


Discharging of gray water on grounds is prohibited by state law.  A dump station is available for all guests. Help us stay clean by depositing all garbage in the dumpsters located near the entrance of the Campground.

FIREWOOD

Fires are permitted in designated fire rings only. Outside firewood is prohibited, as invasive insects are a constant threat to Michigan's forests. Firewood bundles are available for purchase in the office. We do NOT allow any outside firewood to be brought into the Resort.


FIREARMS

Guests must obey all federal, state, and local laws regarding the ownership and possession of firearms. Firearms are not permitted in any property buildings or common areas. The discharge of firearms, BB guns, air guns/rifles, or similar devices is strictly prohibited.


CANCELLATION, REFUND, AND CHANGE POLICY

I understand and agree that Rippling River Resort Campground does not give credit or refunds due to the discomfort of nature. Rippling River Resort Campground’s refund policy varies, depending on the timing of the cancellation notice in advance of the reservation date, as follows:

Change Policy:
Changes to reservation dates (arrival or departure) can be made on Campspot, or by calling the resort office  Guest is responsible for any resultant difference in rates.
Changes made to decrease occupancy will result in issuance of a Camp Credit. Camp Credit will remain active on the User Account and will expire one year from issuance.
Reservation arrival or departure dates may not be changed inside the cancellation window.

CANCELLATION POLICY

3+ WEEKS (22 Days+)

FULL REFUND minus $25 cancellation fee.

2-3 WEEKS (15-21 days):
50% of reservation refunded and 50% of reservation issued in camp credit.

<2 WEEKS (14 days from date of arrival):
Full reservation forfeited.

Cancellations by email, voicemail, or direct messaging are not acceptable. The only approved cancellations are on your Campspot account, or direct personal contact by phone or in person. Office hours are 8am to 10pm Eastern Time daily. Phone: 906-273-2259

All refunds processed via credit/debit card will be processed back to the original credit/debit card used, no exceptions.

Camp Credit can be redeemed for one year from the issued date and can be applied toward a future site or cabin rental.

Refund Policy:
Refunds are prohibited for change in weather conditions, voluntary departure, or evictions. Any refund processed will be refunded in the same form that it was originally paid, or a reservation credit can be issued towards a future stay to be used within one year from the date the reservation credit was issued. All refunds processed via credit/debit card will be processed back to the original credit/debit card used, no exceptions.

This property is privately owned.  Management reserves the right to refuse entry. 

Management assumes no liability for loss or damage to property and injury to his person or camping party arising out of the use of its facilities.

Campers, renters and all other users of this property are liable for property damages.

Camping vehicles must be of suitable appearance, meeting the Department of Health standards and be highway approved.

All recreational vehicles must have certification of the controlling agency in the state of manufacture.

OTHER POLICIES


Please note that we will do our best to put you in the campsite or cabin that you have reserved, however there may be unforeseen circumstances that may result in moving your site to another location. 

All guests must comply with all federal, state and local laws.  Violators of these rules may be evicted without refund.
